I've registered and my user name and password do not seem to work.

- Please check that you have successfully confirmed your account by clicking the registration link sent by support@hedgefunddirectories.net to your email inbox.  You're account will remain "pending" until this link has been clicked and your account activated.

How can I retrieve my password if I've forgotten it?

- Easily, on the home page under the username/password section click on the forgot password link, in the space provided please enter the email you've used to register and your password will be emailed to you.

Do I have to purchase a subscription plan to use the service?

 -No, we offer a number of unlimited solutions to our paid users yet all registered users can still take advantage of our services by trading contacts and using our credit system.

What is Hedge Fund Directories?

Hedge Fund Directories (HFD) is a hybrid online directory of hedge fund contacts, compiled by our nearly 2400 unique contributors in tandem with a dedicated team of seasoned researchers.  HFD is perhaps the only and largest community of its kind dedicated to intelligently sourcing contacts within the hedge fund industry.

How does HFD update its directory?

The directory is updated daily by our users and our researchers in a collaborative effort.  Our users enjoy a no fuss system that allows for the flagging and re-researching of contacts along with the ability to upload new contacts.  This relationship allows us to constantly serve our clients with fresh information.  We also read and compile information from online and print news, blogs and requests for research by our clients.

How can I test the directory for quality and dependability?

-We want our clients to feel comfortable using our services as the best source for finding hedge fund contacts.  Any potential clients are welcomed to send a brief email to support@hedgefunddirectories.net requesting a sample of any 5 hedge funds and the contacts we have on file for that firm. (we limit the sample pull contacts to the first 25 contacts for each firm).

How can I view all management companies?

- After logging in you will be directed to the "my account" home screen, by clicking on "view my directories" you will see all available management companies.

Why are names and numerical values xxx'd out in my free, basic, and advanced subscription?

Free users will need to upload contacts to earn credits and then trade those credits for the contacts they are interested in.  Basic and Advanced users simply need to have enough remaining credits and trade their monthly allotment for contacts. 

How can I report an inaccurate fund or contact?

- Easily, on every fund page under the website link there is a "report inaccuracy" link - this can be used to alert admin that a particular company has changed locations or is no longer in business.  The same applies to the contacts that are in the directory, all contacts have a check box to the left of the contact name - this can be used to alert admin of a contact that no longer works at the firm, has a bad email, or has an inaccurate phone number.  Users that flag inaccurate contacts will be notified by email when a revision has been posted or the new contact details have been sourced.

How do I cancel my account ?

Account access can be cancelled by sending an email to billing@hedgefunddirectories.net or calling 800 656 7170


*Basic and Advanced monthly subscriptions can be cancelled at anytime.

**Unlimited yearly subscriptions can be cancelled at anytime yet HFD does not offer refunds or prorate subscription costs since users will have had access to data that can be exported.

How much does HFD cost?

-  Your membership can be completely free, 49-99USD per month for limited access, or 2900-10000 USD per year(depending on region or package)for unlimited access

   What is the difference between the Free, Basic, and Advanced plans?

   ·         Free User - 1 Uploaded Contact = 1 HFD Credit = 1 New Contact or 1 US Dollar

Basic and Advanced subscription plans require no annual commitment and can be canceled at any time.

·         Basic - This subscription is ideal for users that may not currently have hedge fund contacts to contribute or time to upload contacts into the system yet need a steady flow of new leads monthly.   

49$/ month for 50 Trade Credits per month. These credits can be used across all our directories to view/download 50 new hedge fund contacts per month.  Basic users can also trade contacts:  1 Uploaded Contact = 1 HFD Credit = 1 New Contact or 1 US Dollar

·         Advanced - This subscription is also ideal for users that may not currently have hedge fund contacts to contribute or time to upload contacts into the system yet need a steady flow of new leads monthly.   

99$/ month for 150 Trade Credits per month. These credits can be used across all our directories to view/download 150 new hedge fund contacts per month.  Advanced users can also trade contacts:  1 Uploaded Contact = 1 HFD Credit = 1 New Contact or 1 US Dollar

What is the difference between the unlimited yearly plans?

- The difference between the below 5 plans is the region which you choose to have unlimited access to.  For unlimited plans all contacts and contact details are unhidden.  Americas, Europe, and Asian Pacific are single manager hedge funds.  Global Fund of Funds are multi-manger funds. Global All Access is all funds and contacts captured in the directory.
